Stevan Mačković, CV


Stevan Mačković (born in 1959) graduated in History from the University of Novi Sad.From 1984. until 1992. he worked in various elementary schools, The City Museum of Subotica, and as History Teaching Assistent at  the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad.From 1992 he is employed at the Historical Archives of Subotica.His research field is local history of the 20th century.Today he is the Editor-in-chief of “Ex Pannonia”, the Archive's magazine.

His expert bibliography consists of over 150 units of classicly and over of 1000 units of electronicly published works.It contains various articles, studies and lexicographic units.He also wrote a monograph and co-wrote three others.

As an expert in social relations and history in the Interwar period  he is involved in a project headed by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C.

From 2001 he is employed as the director of the Historical Archives of Subotica.
